In this workshop, your host Trupti More will introduce you to tools and most of the basic techniques of quilling. With these basic techniques, we will make two beautiful magnets and these techniques and supplies can be used to create up to 10 more magnets or other designs of your choice by yourself after the workshop. You could create bookmarks, greeting cards, photo frames, and much more. Quilling is not just an art, it also helps with relaxation and hand-eye coordination. Quilling works well for kids and adults. No prior experience is required to make these ornaments. SUPPLIES: I will highly recommend that you should buy supplies from me so that you don't have to worry about anything. Once you are done with the registration buy supplies here: Paper Quilling Kit for Magnets | Trupti's Craft (truptiscraft.com) This kit will include a slotted tool, circle sizer, 100 paper strips, fine tip glue bottle (with glue), tweezer, cork board, pearl pins, 2 magnet base etc. Apart from these supplies, you will need scissors. We will mount that rose on a matt board and then frame it in a shadow box. You can use these same on-edge quilling techniques to make more beautiful items. You can use this frame to decorate your room or can give it as a gift. No prior experience is required to make this beautiful rose. Your host will provide all the materials, you just come with scissors and a lot of patience. On 29 January, I conducted workshop at Providence REC Center, Falls Church. There were 8 lovely ladies who attended this workshop. They enjoyed the workshop. Everyone's thinking was different so everyone did different different projects. So here are some photos of that workshop.

We had a wonderful workshop at Craftspace on 28th January. The space was wonderful. There were 10 students of different ages. Everyone enjoyed it a lot and didn't want to go home.
